I'm way older than you but have no career.
Western society has done a great job at making people feel that they have to be defined by their work. I absolutely hate the question 'so what do you DO?'. Like, I do a lot of things, none of which pay me but which enrich my life in so many ways. It's all BS. Don't buy into it.
