| Comment | Yeah I thought that might be a key reason, but I guess I still think it must be possible to offer a window, even approximate like within a two hour period. I teach during the day and I’ve missed calls because they were during class - waste of their time I think too, rather than if I could choose a slot where I’ve got prep time and could answer the phone. So many people must be in this situation, where they need to speak to a GP but can’t be available the entire day not knowing when the call will come.
Ultimately they need more funding and more staff, of course, and I don’t blame the nurses and doctors as I know how hard they work. It’s systemic change I’d hope for. |
