If your health allows and if you are unemployed I guarantee you can walk into a job tomorrow in the hospitality industry . No doubt, it’s shit . The pay is shit and the work is hard but I really believe (almost) any job is better than no job . Working gives you some purpose and you can use that to grow .

I’m also guessing from your responses you don’t have a degree , which is absolutely fine and not something to beat yourself up about . There are still several countries that accept non degree holders for teaching English . This is an amazing experience and generally the money is okay , if not by Uk standards then by the cost of living in that country . It’s looks great on the CV and will be a challenge that really gives you confidence .
