It does get better in time. Eventually the loss/pain/guilt subsides and things become easier. It does take longer than two months though (did for me anyway).
But I see hope for you in what you've written as you recognise there is a problem and you want to address. It reads like some part of you has gone "This? I've had quite enough of _this_ thank you very much." and rolled it's sleeves up. Take heart in that.
As for meeting up, I'm a cantankerous bastard and really not the best company but r/glasgow has a whole social side to it from board games and poker, to open source tech and just getting boozed up. Links should be in the wiki, I'll dig a few out and edit this post. |
