I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, stigmatising people with heroin and methadone addictions isn’t going to make them better people.
Half the city is snorting gear, mandy, and ketimine, or borderline addicted to booze, smoking whatever, so why not call them out as junkies and addicts as well when they’re harassing people and making peoples lives miserable.
It’s classism, because you think you’re better - which you may be - but I’m sure if you were addicted to anything like “a junkie” you’d be just as bad. |
