Well, I have a very good Indian friend here and he absolutely loves it. In his own words "Getting away from the heat and unbearable amount of crowd on the streets" is what cuts it for him. :)
Keep an eye on this sub though, there are opportunities to meet people through this sub, do some activities etc. And folk in general are very helpful.
