As some else said there's someone there to chat with you while do they do their business. I barely felt the injections and a slight but of tugging but no pain atall. I took paracetamol before and some after but nothing after that. The worst part was getting the gauze off that'd stuck to my ball stitches.
Someone at my work had it and had a fair bit of pain during and after but even he's fine now. I got sent away with 2 tubes to send in at 12 & 16 weeks then a letter about another 4 weeks saying I was free to go about it.
I was dead cert on having it and haven't had any regrets. I was just over 30 with 2 kids but don't get the feeling that swayed th gp. In lothians atleast you can self refer to the sexyal health clinic.
