Whilst you might like the cycle lanes in Glasgow, almost without exception they are poorly thought out and in poor repair.

Glasgow city council isn't doing what needs to be done in redesigning roads in an "active travel first" manner (by that I mean, walking, running, and cycling) with cars etc second.

The cycle route down the Northern section of Pollokshaws Road leading into Victoria Road is probably one of the best in the city and it is not exactly brilliant, often being blocked by parked cars on Vicky Road.
