| Comment | You've highlighted the problems created by giving up pavement space for cycle lanes. Sauchiehall Street is full of bars and restaurants so you'll get drunk people not paying attention. They know not to walk in the road but they're not aware of the cycle lanes. They're only segregated by a slightly higher kerb which is easily stepped over.
I'd be careful with the air horn. That's just going to antagonise drunk people.
One other thing, are you riding an electric bike? If so, you should be on the road. It's not going to be long before a deliveroo rider on an EB kills someone and that's something you'd rather not do. |
