That’s a tricky one though I really do understand it. On victoria road, for example, I’ve walked into the cycle lane to avoid a crowd *but* I look, wait for a gap, because I know there might be cycle traffic on it. On Allison st I’ve walked on the road, car door side, occasionally for the same reason. Health issues in my family so don’t want to get sick. I think though the situ still needs addressing, who knows how long the pandemic will go on, more people being able to confidently cycle safely to their work etc means less on trains, buses and in cars which would be a plus for public health (and mean less congested roads).
