| Comment | I hate to be the pessimist here but honestly you are fucked for public transport.
We have the train, the bus and the underground. All are far more expensive than they should be for public transport, bearing in mind they are for people who are elderly and can't drive, people who can't afford to drive, and people like yourself who want to keep their carbon footprint down.
The train is pricy for what it is but its still the best option.
They are more reliable than the buses but there's 0 late night or 24hr trains which is a fucking joke.
The buses are shit. Shit. You have to contend with junkies wee neds and people who stink alongside other regular customers way more than any other form of public transport...but they charge you a fucking fortune for the luxury. They don't turn up on time if they even bother turning up at all and a huge number of the drivers are cunts now...which tbf I would be too putting up with the shit they do.
The underground is not bad...but its fucking expensive and is limited to where it goes. |
