I lived with another guy, woman below us complained to the police. Complained to us. Complained to the council. Made threats. It took months to be resolved, a listening team. Was sent out, we didn't know about it. The team. Concluded we weren't making any obscene noises. Just the noise you'd expect from people living their life. As she reported she could hear us walking (not stamping) opening and closing drawers (not slamming) etc. She'd exaggerated it but what she reported was essentially true.
She refused mediation after we'd agreed to it, then continued with the complaints. And we reported her for harrasment and then we refused mediation. She sold up and moved not long after.
From. First report to us complaining about harrasment took a solid 9-12 months.
Sounds like the guy below you is going through something similar and isn't dealing with it well. I hope you can get it resolved and it's vital to keep a log of everything |
