It's hard being right all the time. Good you have evidence to back yourself up.
I told my job in August 2020 if I ended up being the only chef in 1 years time I'd leave. In July 2021 I became the only chef. After a few weeks had a huge fall out with the owner and told him I didn't want to work untill September (he'd promised changes in September) September came and I left.
