I pay very slightly less but, yeah. It's their undivided attention, expertise and experience for a full hour and usually they also have to pay the gyms a fee to be able to run their business from their facilities. Add in the other freelancing costs like preparing session plans, possibly buying equipment, bunch of taxes/pension shit, and you're easily on £40 quid per hour. I understand though that's a good chunk of money so I personally only have 1 session with my PT per week and then go by myself another time or two (she's sweet enough to send me training plans for my solo sessions for free). Many PTs also offer partner sessions! So might be worth checking if a pal fancies splitting the cost. Even cheaper (usually included in your membership) would be to check out what classes your gym offers, they're run by the PTs but obvs you dont get that 1 on 1 attention, can still be worth it to figure out what area you want to focus on!
