Comment | Last place I lived had one of these flats next door, I didn’t know when I bought it and it was years before I realised. Council called it a TAMU, temporary accommodation management unit.
Most of the tenants were very young mums who’d stay for a few months, really kept to themselves and it was very quiet. It was a furnished flat and I’m guessing it was done up to suit a new mum or someone with young kids - would explain why it was always the same sort of tenant.
I was there for years without any problems and didn’t know it was a unit until a guy moved in, having parties every night during the week, a few of us made a noise complaint to the council and they came out to visit, explained it was a temp unit, guy moved out soon after and it went back to being pretty quiet.
Could you speak to some of the neighbours to get a feel for how it’s been or what it’s normally like/who is normally there? |
