| Comment | It's very difficult to find a place as foreign students and you'll most likely have to pay 6 months rent upront. If you can, I'd suggest saying it during your application so you'll have a bigger chance of getting a flat.
It took me and my SO 4 months to find a flat (not even within a certain are, but anywhere on the subway network except Ibrox/Govan/Cessnock) and luckily it does allow pets, but most places won't (we didn't know it allowed pets until we signed the lease). Loads of people just tend to sneak their pet in. Although it's easier to find a place that allows pets/won't charge you 6 months up front if you go for a private landlord. |
