Well I got my house for under home report and lower than others on the street.
Even if the value of the house had gone up in the 3 years, which I don’t doubt it did, the £60k gave me extra purchasing power as I had that plus my original deposit, plus 3 years of mortgage contributions (minus interest) to put towards it.
