| Comment | It’s not just food delivery drivers - parcel delivery drivers (if the close door is open) just walk in and leave the parcel by the door. They don’t buzz, don’t knock just leave it and go.
It’s a bit grating at times as it’d be nice to know there’s valuable items outside the door for hours for anyone to steal.
I’ve noticed some drivers when people in out flat aren’t in, instead of posting the “we missed you” note through their door just leave it on the floor of the close by the main door….. obvs this can blow away, get thrown away, missed etc. It’s really lazy - I appreciate they’re up against it but if a note is for flat 3/2 then stick it through the door of flat 3/2, not on the mat of the main door.
Worst I ever saw was about 5 years ago. I was at work and DHL turned up, parked their van at the opening to the car park, dropped a note on the floor and drove off lol.
I was at the window and happened to be looking out, spotted this in disbelief and went to get the “sorry we missed you” slip 🙄 I guess the driver had a bad day but it’s not acceptable if someone’s waiting on a present for someone or something else important.
Still can’t work out why they’d do that other than the driver being really pissed off and not caring about the job anymore. Bizarre thing to do. |
