Comment | I think the perspective is different depending on where you live. I think converting more of the city centre into parking would do a lot of damage.
For those that live in suburbs and lead a car dependent life, outer city malls will always be a better solution. A mixture of better public transport and moving more people into the city centre so urban density can be regained can probably create an audience for city centre shops? For perspective, I live near the mitchell library and I would never go to an out of city mall when I can just walk to shops. |
