| Comment | I think we need to bring back a mix of city centre living, with small shops/bars/cafes etc to support those living there. It's not uncommon in many places around the world and would kill two birds with one stone. Use up vacant space and bring back people to the city centre. Historically that was also the norm so no reason it can't work now, just need gcc to be more open in terms of planning and development (although they have made this a target for the future admittedly). |
