I'm probably older than you. I remember Glasgow in the eighties. It was a filthy shithole. Almost a citywide slum. I've seen it drag itself back up from there before, and I'm sure it will again. It just takes time, intent, the will of the public, and a government that isn't fleecing the country for personal gain.
