| Comment | Buchanan Street seems to be doing ok. I think the secret is shops worth visiting, sauchiehall street was worse than Buchanan Street and argyle Street to start with, and more restaurants, bars, cafes etc so you actually want to go these. Most of the good ones are off the main shopping streets.
When I mean argyle Street was better to start with I mean the shops on argyle Street were the better choice. TK max, better on argyle Street, Primark, better on argyle Street, HMV, better on argyle Street. If I'm shopping I don't even go down argyle Street, it's not worth it.
Also no parking. I can park at king Street car park cheaply and easily, nothing like that that end. |
