until about 20 years ago most housing schemes just had the wee local shops which would shut at 5-6pm leaving just the off license open late so the van was very popular at night time
the van used to have much more stuff than the off licenses which used to stick to mainly alcohol and it was all behind a glass screen
nowadays they have too much competition to make much money |
