| Comment | I got my two from the SPCA in Bothwell about 4 years ago but I think most rescue centres are still quite stubborn on the "must have a garden" front. The rescue charities that rescue Romanian strays aren't as strict about a garden, there's one in Rutherglen (I think) called Ruff Start Rescue. Best bet would be to phone round local rescue centres and ask about the need for a garden.
On the paperwork front take a form of ID and a bill of some sort as proof of address, we paid our dogs adoption fees in cash but some places may take card payment. Good luck in your search for a wee furry friend, keep us updated if you find one. |
