It’s like any other housing estate in the west of Scotland. Lots of social housing. Your quality of life will be directly impacted by your neighbours. There are some streets worse than others.

There are areas of Clydebank where property is being bought up within days of coming to the market. It has become popular due to its proximity to Glasgow, less reliance on City Centres, transport links and local amenities, while still having reasonable property prices and rents.

Tbh the people on this sub, whether they think it or not, are not representative of the wider population of Glasgow and the west. It is populated by people who have lived sheltered lives, who are scared of marching bands and children going “ahhh” while riding a bike. If they left the West End or Shawlands they may not survive. Glasgow Reddit is not the best place to collect advice on life beyond mums basement.
