Comment | Why would you go to the hassle of switching to a train when a number 17 bus goes up there and takes 40 mins to the CC?
The number 2 bus also goes there and is one of the most frequent single line services in the country.
Not everybody commutes to the city centre either so its a long way off from being “poor.”
A train is not a prerequisite to good transport, although it certainly makes things better. Strathclyde is spoiled with a good suburban rail network that a lot of other cities can’t match. When you get to around Clydebank/Yoker/Scotstoun the express bus is more convenient and as quick, if not quicker than the train. |
