Yeah, I’m public sector so I feel you. Shawlands has been popular for decades though so you shouldn’t be looking there, I’d advise outside the city. whilst I’m obviously biased, Paisley is close enough and has decent public transport to the city. Downside is all the junkies roaming the town centre.
