Comment | When you take out a new deal, particularly if it's in winter (as that's when you use more), they usually set you up to overpay initially - and then once you're in credit they bring the DD amount down.
You probably are still saving by switching, I think a fixed-rate tariff today is less than 3 months ago, but it won't be saving you *that* much. Important thing is to compare the unit rates you're paying.
I'd also recommend that if you're on a new fixed-rate, check again in a few months because if gas prices stop being crazy then there will be much cheaper offers available than right now |
