Comment	From the Oxford Dictionary - road /rəʊd/ noun a wide way leading from one place to another, especially one with a specially prepared surface which vehicles can use. "a country road" - nothing mentioned there about a kerb, but the photo sure likes like a wide prepared surface designed for vehicles (in this case, designed for bikes)
