| Comment | Man, you're the best person on here. It's horrible that you're posting this. It might not help you, but the thing that kept me going through the end of my marriage was the thought that it takes two people to make a relationship work, and just because the other person has changed, it's not your fault. You're being you and they've drifted off, and they're a different person now. Think about who they are now - a shut-off, uncaring, distant person - and not the person that you had those fun times with and went to those places with.
I've seen people split up with their bird and dwell on all the good times, miss the fun things they used to do, but that's not who the person is anymore. They're the person that has ended the relationship, not the person they fell in love with.
You're a nice, smart, hard-working, interesting person so don't let that slip because of the actions of another person. |
