| Comment | I've been in a similar situation for a few months now, most of the useful stuff is in the other replies already, the only other think I'd mention is try to make sure things don't get even worse: I sort of checked out and stopped doing much more than the bare minimum, so ended up with some mundane stuff causing problems (bills, stuff to renew like licences) just because of "ah, fuck it", or not thinking about it at all.
Dealing with something this big is difficult, it's OK to decide to concentrate on just keeping the "small" stuff together for however long you need.
