Do it! Take the train to Old Kilpatrick and then head up the hill to Greenside Reservoir. You can then head to Cochno / Jaw and come back down towards the train station in Singer. Fantastic hike, great view over the Clyde estuary, and opportunities for a pint on the way back down Cochno road.
