| Comment | 4 in a blocks are an absolute lottery. My first house was great, the neighbours were real characters and very accepting. My second house... my upstairs neighbours were genuine psychos. It was a married couple who were hypersensitive to noise, despite them having the upstairs flat. He kept making passive aggressive remarks about the noise of my doors closing, even after I took them all off and rehung them myself. He kept moaning about the fact that the sound insulation had been removed in the 70s, despite having lived there for 17 years: he could have pulled up his floorboards to replace it, I couldn't exactly take down my ceiling. And then, when I had a newborn, he started going mental at the slightest noise during the night. Anyway, rant over, fuck you Alan! |
