What about own brand oats from Asda or Lidl? Usually about 50p or thereabouts for a big bag, would do a few weeks of porridge breakfasts? Lidl has cheap dried fruit and nuts that go a long way energy/calorie wise, get some of those on top, should keep you going till lunch time in the winter.
