I actually ruined a suit on the way to an interview and ended up wearing black jeans, a tie and a white shirt and got the job. The lady interviewing was very prim and proper and my opening line after introducing myself was essentially “apologies I’m not in a suit, X happened to it”.
You could get trousers, tie and a shirt for probably £20 at Tesco if that helps. |
