| Comment | You’re right that the design cues were taken from it but it’s execution leaves a lot to be desired. Looks shiny and fine now but give it ten years and the joyful geometry of the People Make Glasgow building will still shine whilst this will fade to the mediocre background of the city.
Poor detailing, poor material choice and facade articulation that would make a grownup cry.
There was potential here to have a really nice addition beside the original tower and the wonderful city of glasgow college building just up the road. Missed opportunity imo that sticks out like a sore thumb. |
