Something that maybe hasn't been mentioned yet is to browse your local big brand like Sainsbury's and Tesco. Usually they are way too expensive, but at certain times of the day they'll have lots in the reduced section. Great place to pick up fruit and veg to use in the coming days or freeze for when you need them.
