Both are equally good, you will learn from both, and you will get a good job. About theory vs practice, the whole educational system is going more towards active learning, "learning through doing". You can expect way more practical work today than 10 years ago in both unis.

I guess if I was you my question would be "which topics do I like?" And go to the departments ( the websites) and see which uni has better research groups in those topics, because you are likely to do research projects with them.

To sum up, whatever you choose will be good.
