I or HR would have asked you at job offer if you had any planned leave, if they didn't do that then that's on them.
A couple of days leave is no biggie, even if its with no notice as long as it doesn't shaft anybody then why not?
A fortnight is not really an issue either, it was summer after all. People want to make the most of the short summer.
Any reasonable organisation with a half way decent culture will think like this. If they don't it's red flag time and I would get tae as soon as plausible on your CV, which is minimum a year imho. |
