Yeah but what I'm saying is the scrap yard will take more off the price for the more work that has to be done to get to the metal.
Its like with cable you get more for stripping it than you do for not stripping it. You need to balance whether the time and weight lost make it worth the extra cash. I myself don't bother stripping anything under 25mm
