| Comment | Hello. What you need to say to the council is that your relative is chuxking you out and she doesn't want you back, you can't go back either because it is emotionally abusive. You have to say that as to them in total absolute conviction. they will put you up in a b&b or hostel, assign you a housing officer and you'll choose a number of areas that you would take a property in. I made myself homeless in April because I split up with a girl and got a flat in July. I was very very lucky to get this flat cos its beautiful and changed my life.
Theres areas that have so many people waiting for flats or a really really low turnover of flats. Do NOT let them hustle you into taking areas with a high turnover. Request to see a map of glasgowbwith all the areas and info/stats on the turnovers. Look for the medium turnovers in and surrounding the fancy areas you know of in Glasgow and you'll more than likely get a decent flat rather than getting in big multistorey buildings and rough areas. |
