Housing Options Scotland might also be able to help considering your mental health issues and carer status. They provide a “housing broker” and then they can help you find a place and look at all the possibilities. This can be helpful where the council is moving slow. You can find their details [here](https://housingoptionsscotland.org.uk/) and apply by clicking the “get help” button. Everyone else seems to have the other bases covered!

If you haven’t done so already I’d encourage you to speak with your GP about your mental health. Explain your situation and ask about getting on the waiting list for psychology/cbt - they are overwhelmed rn, but you want to be on that list asap. Just make sure to register with a new gp when you move so that any letters come to your new place.

In the meantime- might be helpful to know Breathing Space provides a free and confidential service by phone and web chat. You can find the deets [here](https://breathingspace.scot/)
