| Comment | Agreed. It was better when we had more competition. For example, remember City Sprinter? Wee buses every 10mins, £1.50, and they made absolutely sure you got where you were going, little things like no shock absorber (but spring still present and functioning perfectly) on a front wheel wouldn't hold them up, despite the passengers getting a bit bouncy.
I recall when I was coming home on one of their buses, unfortunately listening to an obnoxious guy's phone conversation, eager to use the words "Shitty Sprinter" as many times as he could during the call. I occasionally think about that, and hope he now has to ride First every day, regretting what was lost. |
