If you want to go a bit less hipster, you can try Damasqino. Far from being a vegan restaurant as they do a lot of grilled meats, but they do have quite a few vegan options, all of which are absolutely amazing!
Loads of vegan starters/small plates.
If she despises places that are throwing pieces of meat on the grill constantly, well that's kind of a no-no place then.
