Be more concerned about the people being subjected to this housing (or lack thereof) and hold those landlords accountable for their actions rather than their nationality.
I grew up in Govanhill and had a great childhood, yeah there were problems but as you grow and live in other areas/cities/countries you see problems exist everywhere and utopia is non existent.
Additionally some of the best neighbours/ landlords/ friends in the community of Govanhill were non-glasgow born and those that screwed my parents on tenancies and put flyers through the door to campaign to get ‘X- nationality’ out of our flat were born and raised in Scotland 🤷🏽♀️ |
