Why shouldn't non infertile couples consider adoption first too though?

Adoption is a massive, massive undertaking. It shouldn't be a case of "Oh well, I can't have kids I'll "just" adopt". There's no just adopt about it. Kids don't go into care because their mothers are teenagers and don't want them anymore. Kids in care tend to have complex needs and backgrounds. It's not a small undertaking.
