If so I'd ask the factor to price it up, that's part of the service you're paying them to provide and it's a pretty big job. You could find your own tradesman but you'll also be responsible for stumping up the costs.
Worth giving your neighbours a heads up if you do plan to ask the factor to price it up so they're aware. It depends on the agreement with your factor so using mine as an example, if the cost is over £250 (which it most likely will be) then it goes to a vote amongst the owners. Some might say naw as some neighbours don't really give a shit about the close, especially if it's more a cosmetic job. |
