No mate. They keep charging. If you don't pay they attach a notice of potential liability to your title deed that makes it next to impossible to sell without going to auction.
The NOPL is on the title deed so is owed by the current owner of the property not the previous owner who ran up the debt.
I paid 6k to clear one when I bought it so they would start factoring again. Only for them to stop because of someone else's debt. |
