I used to go to Gorbals Glasgow Club gym (I now have to split my time between here and Aberdeen and haven’t been for about six months).
Booking an induction is a good idea. There is a lot of equipment and it was quite daunting. The people working there were very friendly and show you how to use the equipment. They were easy to talk to and spent more time on the things I said I thought I’d use more. And when I wasn’t sure later (as in different day) how to use a bit of equipment again, I just asked and they were happy to show me it again. A few months later when I wanted to try something I hadn’t used before, but they’d shown me at induction, they were happy to go over that stuff again too
I’ve not used the other gyms but I would think they all have a similar vibe and staff would be approachable.
