Rent caps, development restrictions (GCC planning is running riot atm), proper amenities based on population density, Policing, Social work, DRS and NHS actually collaborating with each other instead of being forced to kick the can down the road. Lastly and much harder to do, Regeneration often leads to gentrification, which leads to exclusion when done badly. A thriving community will not come from affluent people playing at fixing it. It comes from within the community. |
